FT2 Planner

Tool

Snap drags to plots

Rounds every rectangle out to whole plots.

Paint

Place an exact rectangle

Selection

Fill uses whatever's in the ground bar above the map — pick a crop while a selection is open and it stays open. Switching to another tool drops it.

Fence

Snap to field

Rectangle fences all four sides at once, and removing takes down every fence inside the rectangle too. Single line sticks to the one boundary you start on and fills in any gaps if you drag quickly. Snapping to the field wraps whatever you click — one crop, one pond, one road — and overrides the plot snap. Alt does the opposite of the mode you're in.

Paste

Pick up

Click any tile to load what's on it into the ground bar, then carry on painting with it.

Farms & sub-farms

Each sub-farm keeps its own layout and its own size. The content list and rectangle presets are shared by all of them.

Backup file

One file holds every farm, every sub-farm and your content list.

You'll be asked where your current layout should sit in the new farm, so you can choose which edges gain or lose plots.
